Mystical. Complex. Smooth.
Grown in the fertile, volcanic soils of Mount Agung’s Kintamani Highlands, Volcano Moon is a coffee as rich in tradition as it is in flavor. Cultivated by small family farms and organized through the Subak Abian, a traditional Balinese farming cooperative, this coffee is produced with deep respect for nature and sustainability.
Using the unique Giling Basah (wet-hulling) process, this organic coffee develops its signature bluish hue and a flavor profile unlike any other. Expect a cup that is smooth, rich, and clean, with indulgent notes of Baker’s chocolate, bright orange peel, juniper, and molasses.

A Coffee Rooted in Balinese Tradition
Balinese coffee farmers embrace Tri Hita Karana, an ancient Hindu philosophy centered on harmony between humans, nature, and the divine. This commitment to balance means no pesticides or synthetic fertilizers—just pure, organic cultivation in one of the world’s most breathtaking coffee-growing regions.
The wet-hulling process gives Volcano Moon its unique, smooth character, reducing acidity while enhancing body and depth. The result is a beautifully clean and complex cup, perfect for those who appreciate richness with a touch of brightness.

Frequently asked questions
What type of roast should I choose?
The roast level influences the flavor and strength of the coffee. If you prefer a rich, bold taste with deep flavors, a dark roast like our Sumatran Black Velvet is a great choice. For a balanced cup with a mix of bright and earthy notes, opt for a medium roast like our Mayan Soul from Chiapas, Mexico. If you enjoy lighter, fruity flavors, a light roast like our Reserva Colombiana Tolima might be the one for you.
Do you have decaffeinated options?
Yes! Our Swiss Water Decaf from Peru is 100% organic and uses a chemical-free decaffeination process, retaining its full-bodied, smooth flavor. We also offer a Half Caff blend, which is half decaf and half regular Peruvian Gold, perfect if you’re looking to cut back on caffeine without sacrificing flavor.
What flavor notes can I expect from each region?
Each coffee origin has unique tasting notes. Our Peruvian Gold offers smooth, nutty flavors with hints of cocoa, while Reserva Colombiana Tolima provides a bright, fruity profile with mild acidity. If you’re looking for something more adventurous, try our Kintamani Highlands Bali with hints of baker’s chocolate, orange peel, and a touch of juniper.
I enjoy a low-acid coffee. Which one should I choose?
For a low-acid, smooth coffee, we recommend our Sumatran Black Velvet. Its dark roast profile and earthy, lingering finish create a rich, full-bodied experience without the high acidity found in lighter roasts.
Which coffee would be best for someone who wants an everyday coffee?
For a versatile, easy-drinking coffee that suits all brewing methods, our Mayan Soul or Peruvian Gold are excellent options. Both have a balanced, smooth profile that works well for daily enjoyment and pairs wonderfully with milk or as a black coffee.
